Food seems so obvious that we often don’t give it much thought. We’ve gotten so used to it that it just blends into the backgrounds of our lives, undeserving of attention unless it’s extraordinary. The problem with this is that food is one of, if not the single most important factors influencing your health. Your diet, the entire composition of the food you consume over your entire life (as opposed to something you do for a few weeks to lose weight), has a massive impact on your life, yet I’d bet you never really thought about it deeply. Your eating habits are a mixture of random behaviors inherited from your parents, friends and society. They likely have no rhyme or reason and may or may not be killing you slowly.
